SERVICES
Beginners Class
In this class students will learn a basic understanding of conversion from feet to decimals. They will learn to set up a laser and covert basic math as well as shoot grades. When this course is finished you will have an understanding of grades, bench marks, shooting grades and relating all the information to real world application.
Advanced Class
In this class you must have taken the beginners class or pass a simple test relating to it. This course provides an in depth look at reading plans, performing layout, Learning calculations for the field work. This class is geared for anyone looking to be a foreman or become a better foreman.
Construction
Management
If you are looking to advance your skills as a foreman to become a superintendent this is the program for you. You will learn tools such as critical path. Scheduling, implementation, job planning, material procurement and work force relations. We will teach you how to corral the mental aspect of management.
ABOUT
New England Civil Academy was formed with the idea that every company should not be burdened with the task of educating its workforce. There is a lack of education in the field of civil excavation. If you are not a civil engineer then the only way to receive this education is through work experience. Here at NECA, we strive to change this problem. With the ever-changing employment environment, we are now seeing the need more and more to educate the individuals willing to perform this type of work. We are here to make this happen.
